"I am the vine, you are the branches. As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love." In Baptism we are reborn through water and the Holy Spirit as children of God. Baptism is a sign of the Kingdom of God, and the life of the world to come. Through the gifts of faith, hope, and love, baptism has a dynamic aspect which embrances the whole of life; and it is baptism that calls us to be and do as Jesus did. In Christ Jesus we are all children of God through faith. Baptism is the passing on of our faith to the next generation.
